I love a Halloween corner that makes someone look twice. The little ghost hands under these black tapers are funny in a slightly creepy way, and the glowing tips give the shelf some drama without a real flame.

What I like most is the contrast: black tapers, red wax-drip styling, and pale skeletal hands holding them up. Each taper takes two AA batteries, which are not included, so I’d check the battery drawer before planning to set them out.
I’d place them on a bookshelf between a few old books and a plain bowl, and let the hands be the only Halloween prop in that corner.
